Maria Simon NCARB | Associate
Maria is a licensed architect with a decade of experience working on civic, transportation, institutional, and multifamily projects. She joined MA at the beginning of 2018 as an Architect.
She has played significant roles on a variety of projects, including serving as Site and Architectural Advisor to Hawaii’s bid and subsequent role as a consultant with Tod Williams and Billie Tsien Architects on the winning design for the Obama Presidential Center. She also worked as a Project Architect on a mixed use market and housing project in Brussels Belgium and a Job Captain on the San Jose International Airport.
Maria taught as an Assistant Professor at the University of Hawaii where she was nominated for a Board of Regents Teaching Award. She also taught at Lawrence Technological University and is currently an Adjunct Professor at Portland State University.
